Ok, at almost the end, when you applied the filter effect, why you didnt use the filter spherize (Filter-
Distort-
Spherize), you can easily make a seleccion of the water doplet(Ctrl + left click, on the layer preview ) and apply the filter, i think its better and it looks a little more realistics, and of course, you can move the doplet all over the image. well, just my opinion. enjoy

My water droplet looks a little dark, yours looks more clear. The color behind my droplet is red so I dont think that is it. I dont want to lower my opacity I dont think? Help?

You should have also added to save layer style, this allows the user to save it for future images using the water drops effect quick and easily without having to readd all the settings.
