Its pretty cool to have a self-tuning guitar, but at the same time its kindof cheating. And another way to look at it would be that someone who buys this guitar who doesn't know how to tune a guitar to an alternate tuning without this guitar will be lost if they don't have this self-tuning guitar. Theres no disputing that you are a better guitar player if you can tune the guitar with your ear.

how much is it? i would feel unsafe with that guitar. I feel that it would snap the strings on accident, or go an octave too high.

Not that I think that this is a bad idea, I personally don't see this as a practical guitar. Especially if you can already tune by ear and/or you play in tunings that aren't on that dial.
Plus, it seemed like restringing it required more steps than restringing any other guitar. Once again, I do not think it's a bad idea, it's just not for me.

I see how some people would think its lazy... but if your gona go from standard, to open g, to drop c it would be really convenient, especially for live shows

Agree! Good to change the tuning on-the-flight but looks like a nightmare in case a string gets broken during a gig...
Anyway, it would be interesting to see some similar feature on an acoustic guitar, where the tuning is usually changed a lot by fingerstyle players...
