I think that this is a great day to be listening to this song -- to use it like a prayer. But it should also be listened to in conjunction with Cohen's other song, The Future:
"I've seen the Future, and, brother, it is murder..." The Future isn't going to be easy, people... but let's choose Democracy. Sail on!
