Yeah, I LOVE this song, this album, everything about it. One of my favorites. They've influenced me musically. Funny thing is that I learned later that the producer was John Leckie! He also produced one of my other favorite albums, THE STONE ROSES debut album. Both of them have a great atmosphere to them.

This song really opened my eyes to how clever lyrics could be, they are all through this song, "looking at my watch and I'm half past caring", "I'll have too much to say and a dead stupid name!" Brilliant!

Jiggs and all others who have commented....My thoughts for what it's worth..... I am 46 - brought up with the Beatles/Stones etc, who speak for themselves. These guys in my opinion however are up there. Possibly the best band from Scotland never to 'make it'. I love these guys and watch them everytime. Also an avid fan of the River Detectives, Silencers, McKenzie's and in my opinion, the finest band ever spawned in Scotland - the sensational Blue Nile ( who have semi 'made it' I think). Ian D
