| Harry is not weak.Voldemort was able to control his mind & take possession of his body because Harry wasn't skilled enough & didn't have enough knowledge to resist.If Dumbledore had told him EVERYTHING in the beginning,Harry would have known what would happen & he would have been prepared. |

| I do see the parallels my point is Harry is not a soldier so it's unrealistic to expect him to act like one.Harry is not a killer & he is not interested in obtaining raw, unyielding power.Power corrupts & absolute power corrupts absolutely which is why Voldemort & his Death Eaters are the evil monsters they are.Harry has no interest in becoming like Voldemort.From what you've posted so far,if you had that kind of power you'd be taking over the world & doing everything illegal known to man. |

| As it turns out, I do have friends. Plenty. And its not wealth I care about. I'd be willing to live piss poor If i were simply recognized as a god like voldemort is. | So I'm guessing you're an athiest? EVERYONE is born with a soul & dies with a soul. Voldemort is not a god. He gets killed at the end of the seventh book. The only people who see Voldemort as a god are his followers. If you read the books you'll find Volemort DID have a soul once he just tore it apart to gain power for himself. He was born a human being. He just sacrificed his humanity for power. & yes the power would corrupt you. More corrupt than you're making yourself look anyway. |
