I know, I'm just not that good yet. I go to school during the day, work at night, and go 4-wheeling on the weekends, so practice time is hard to come by these days. I am working on my sweeps though.

I'm upgrading to a half stack pretty soon, my 2x12 is on the Philly craigslist (in case anyone is interested). I almost bought a Peavy Predator EXP, because it was the cheapest guitar with a Floyd Rose at the time, but I bought the Ibanez copy you see in my Go Into The Water (standard tuning) video. I'm kind of a gear whore, I just usually get lucky enough to find stuff really cheap!

So.. yeah, this was very well played but totally wrong. The beginning and the chord fills between the sections were corrent but everything else was wrong. Sorry if this is old news to you, and I'm not trying to be a dick, just pointing it out. The vid of B.Small teaching this used to be up on youtube, but now can be seen here w.adultswim . com/shows/metal/tools/vids/themeDARK . html

Ok I'm sorry I didn't see that you put up an updated version of it. The other one is much closer, yet still not quite. The 2nd part is too long and the big-climb-3rd-part has a bunch of wrong notes. Do check out the video I mentioned, just remove the unnecessary spaces to get it to work :)

Nice guitar! Question: Does the neck have binding? Some Schecters obviously do, I can see the white binding up the sides of the neck. But others I can't spot it, maybe coz it's black?

The hellraiser series does not have neck binding. Personally I prefer it that way, it balances out the abalone binding on the body and headstock.

That's a good idea. I couldn't find a music store that had an avenger when I bought mine, but Guitar Center did have the Hellraiser C-1, which plays and sounds pretty much the same.

Yeah, if the necks the same then thats good. The thing is, I've been playing a Dean FBD that has neck binding and I really like it. Before that I had a squier strat, a POS compared to the Dean. I'm a lefty, and just discovered Schecter makes left handed guitars, so I am totally psyched to check 'em out!! thanks for the info.
