Brandon's voice is one of the most emotive I've ever heard--it's amazing. And this is one of those rare covers that doesn't try to reinvent the song, but is more like a dedication. It's awesome.

Ruin? The Killers made it infinitely better. Flowers sings with emotion in his voice,which Knopfler does not have. Knopfler is good in his own way, Flowers was just better suited for this one.

This is far better then romeo and juliet from the Dire Straits. The voices are much better, it looks like the killers sing it from the heart.
The Killers are the best band ever. I love those guys, its just brilliant. =D

Yeah res0p Brandon sings with emotion so it looks like he song from the heart and I love mark knopfler but its not with emotion. He is good on his way but Brandon is far better on this song.

The drummer looks like Earl from My name is Earl, This is poor, the guitarist misses so much of the song! It doesn't suit his voice one bit.

wow the combined talent of this entire band doesnt even touch a single member of dire straits. I'm glad they at least tried to play a good song. Even though their music sucks, they at least listen to good music. If you like this song you should check out the real version by dire straits, one of the greatest groups of all time masterminded by Mark Knopfler.

brandon's lips look so much smaller with the moustache! random i know. just realized now. the killers are awesome, made me love this song. the version is so good wish they would perform it live :(
