Haven't you heard music from Ladytron or Miss Kitten or even Tiga? Most of their songs aren't electro, most are supposed to be New-Wave infused house music. My ears don't deceive, electro much more similar to funk, hip hop, and breakbeat music. The kicking drum beat

I definitely have, but those are hardly even "electro house" Either way, I dont think anyone has really ever compared electro house to electro or said electro house was an offspring of it. Its like comparing hardcore house to hardcore punk/music because they both have hardcore in the name

I am well aware of that, one inherits from house and the other from punk rock. I just have an ear for "backbones", as I see too much propaganda today (TV and Internet) label the eletronic music trend that's going on now as "electro". Maybe it really is the media's doing and not the people, but I won't forget down what made electro the music it was back in its day.

I love this song i remember when it first came out, the radio station played it often and I miss the 80"s only if time could turn back. And as for the young generation they should take a page out of the old school rap music, because the rap music today is not what rap music was originally intended to be.
