Is that a Fender Jazzmaster Stevie's playing? n obscure Fender,I learned to love it via Tom Verlaine of Television fame. Such a great tone! Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore heard Tom play it, and made it part of SY's great sound too. I see ex-Smiths Johnny Marr's been playing a Jazzmaster lately with Modest Mouse. There's even a YT video of Marr discussing that guitar and it's close cousin, the smaller Fender Jaguar...I've wondered if Dave Mason played guitar on the studio version.Maybe not,eh?
