| I disagree. I find it vigorous and exciting. Have you ever watched our American congress and senate? Bring a pillow because you'll be asleep within 5 minutes. This, to me, is an example of a vibrant democracy in action. Democracy should be loud and boisterous, not stuffy and polite. |

| Not to mention ... I hate to admit this ... but our American politicians would be eaten alive by your Parliament. Our politicians are accustomed to staged and sanitized 'debates' and they only yell at each other via television press conferences. They could never survive an "in your face" debate like this. They'd be whimpering fools within seconds! Be very proud of your Parliament, I'm sure they disappoint you from time to time ... but consider the alternative across the pond. Cheers! |
