Vista really sucks, it doesn
´t offer something good, only problems and more problems. I have a quad CPU, an ATI fireGL v7350 1 giga videocard, 8 gigs in RAM and I will never use vista on my machine, vista just sucks in every way.

CPU is way more ... ( 2 months ago by jabjab12)
CPU is way more important than GPU - the PS3 / XBOX360and multi cores pc rigs prove it the gpu is negligible when it comes to performance . If the game/ program is set to utilizing the multi cores it will look great ! The GPU only producing the image for the video output nothing more !

a GPU can process ... ( 1 month ago by Foxynews)
a GPU can process about 5 times more data than a CPU, plus a GPU can do advanced math that is simply impossible on a current 8 or 16 cores CPU for that matter. especially at encoding video or doing folding@home it shows how slow cpu's currently are even the i7 is stale in comparison to a latest Nvidia/Ati/S3 or whatever unified shader based GPU which have upto 800 cores.

Hehehe, it is curious how the people only see what they want to see when it is to their convenience. Obviuously all those 7 words express his true feelings, he is a Vista dick sucker and he felt offended. are you 7 years old or why do I have to explain you this?
cpu's are slowed ... ( 1 month ago by Dukiiiii)
cpu's are slowed down because of the FSB
Northbridge connection, so the CPU cant deliver it's full power. but the GPU is important for video that's true. but 800 cores on a graphic card is nonsense, they have 800mhz GPU's, uber-800-cores or anything. (except for the ATI 4870X2, which has a dual core.)
run folding@home ... ( 1 month ago by Foxynews)
run folding@home and see which is faster ;) also encoding data in any format is 10 times faster than on any CPU and also encrypting and decoding can be done on a GPU around 5 years quicker than a current-gen cpu in 256bit AES.

if you have a multi core processor to get the most out of every core (to make FSX use all four cores if you have a quad or just three out of four to clear up computer processing) youll have to tweak the AFFINITY tthat is inside the FSX.cfg
