Ibanez and ESP are more metal, seriously i got an epiphone les paul for metal a while ago and i wasnt happy with it... i have 2 ibanez guitars, the Jem7V and my old Rg350dx and i am very happy with both of them, but amps are also a key part to sounding good! if you are playing thru a 10 watt marshall or somethin get a bigger and better amp first :)

thanks, I'm just very worried what effects the game guitar hero will have if kids think thats playing, If they put some time into a real guitar I think we would all be better off in the future..so in 5 years time are we going to see new bands go out and perform with guitar hero ...?

the lowe end ( cheap ) bc rich models are crap ...you would be better with a jackson or a ibanez that have good metal/shred guitars for low prices, but buy something U$400+, because it's where they start to be good guitars
