Also if you do ... ( 1 year ago by Beagleslife)
Also if you do clear it out and the Problem is still present. Fallow the entire primary line and set a level on it and make sure that it has a down ward slop. even the SLIGHTEST well "non downward slope" lol will cause a pan fill. Even if it just level will do the same. Also do not take unscrew the adaptor that fits the line to the furnace. ESECIALLY if it is a metal adaptor. This could easily cause damage to your coil. So bad somtimes you might have to replace it.

these are the guys that burn there houses down. Condenser is outside unless its a heat pump in heating mode. Here a tech tip used nitrogen or compressed air the only thing is you have to close off the hole to the drain pan requiring removal of cover to hold your thumb over hole while applying pressure thru tee then flush with plenty of water. that will be $75.00 sign here..

Another amateur ... ( 4 months ago by PutSome5tankOnIt)
Another amateur pretending to be an expert in HVAC. Very amusing. News flash: Secondary/emergency condensate drain pans are installed beneath evaporator (NOT condensor) coils when installations are above living spaces. Water damage to a ceiling isn't only caused by primary drain failures. Since when does algae live in environments without sunlight? Algaes photosynthesize to survive. It's high time that home inspectors wise up. Too many homeowners pay $800, or more, to complete idiots. Sheesh.
