I'd like to recommend "Warsaw Demos" to anyone whom hasn't heard it . It's Joy Division's early works ('76 / '77 era ), and includes , IMO , "better" versions of No Love Lost , etc.

What he's saying is not an opinion. Not liking this doesn't change the fact that this song, or Joy Division in general rose from the ashes of Punk and made music that would be looked at by their peers as the template. They are responsible directly or indirectly for almost every band to come after them. Its like The Velvet Underground, 1 in 30 people my age even know who they are (Forget having heard their songs). People like them, and others don't, but they music what it is. No question.

I am glad someone here has a brain.^ Why are you people comparing Joy Division to the Killers? Don't compare something that is completely different. Joy Division IS something different. JD was a talented amazing band. This is how Ian curtis sings, this is his voice. the reason why most people like brandon's voice better is because you don't hear artist like Ian curtis anymore. most of you stick on what you hear. is a matter of opinion.
