| Another factor in the high rate of American fatalities on the road is the drivers themselves. Some can't handle the pressure and just panic, smashing on the breaks instead of moving out of the way or gradually stopping, and some are just stupid, and don't watch where they are going because they turn around to talk to a friend in the backseat or try to use their cellphone for that call they just HAVE to make. So do not blame the whole thing on highway design. |

| It is JUST A STUPID HABIT among us American drivers that WE DO NOT scan far ahead our distance, but only in front of our car's hood not giving you enough time to slow down to avoid lost of life. Now a motorist officer is killed by run over. How sad. |

Peace be upon her. very disturbing, but i think they need to put this video on american tv everyday. not that it will affect me, UK motorways are safe enough... not that i drive... then again people need to keep focussed on driving until they pull up at location THINK PEOPLE!!!
