Im not a parent, but would just prefer my kid to be a normal healthy child as opposed to disabled 1. Maybe its selfish but thats my biggest concern. And I hope you dont intend to bring up any child to be religious because its cruel to them.

that older guy in the vid reminds me of someone that used to come around the bus station i used to work at with his friend,they were both so awesome and so nice ! Then one day one of them came without the other and i learned that he had passed away...i didn't even know him that well and it was still really sad.

People with down syndrome don't understand all the emotions and everything that comes with that, you won't really notice that with a child of 6 years old. my sister who is 17 only understands 50% it's not something you need to wish for... Have a healthy child thats the only thing i can say...

for one of the people under me .
my brother has downsyndrome,
and he has his license.
they can drive. and he drives me around everywhere. Down syndrome adults can do anything if they put there hearts to it . have you heard the logo for special olympics---"let me win;and if i cannont win let me be brave in this attempt" [: my favorite saying!

I totally agree. I have a child with DS and I love her, yet had I known it in the beginning I would have convinced my wife to have an abortion and go for a second try. That is - why put the burden of a disability on your child's shoulders if you can do without? The world has challenges enough already. I am grateful for this video. It gives me hope for my daughter. Thanks!

Aw this video makes me teary eyed at the end when the music kicks in... makes me remember when my brother was born with Down syndrome how my parents were kind of upset, especially my dad.. they didn't even know it was coming. Now he's 13 and most the time a pretty good kid. ;)
